This is not possible with current PC technology. You can't write SACDs. The only digital high resolution option for home use currently available is DVD-A.

You need a normal DVD burner, a high-rez soundcard and the right software (such as Steinberg Wavelab 5).

I can't see this changing as Sony seems very relucant to open any copy-right loop holes and lose control over copyright.

But Steinberg Wavelab 5 makes authenth DVD-Audio, or is a Normal DVD whit sound (like some programs i looked on internet)?

Just to clarify a few points..
DVDA can also be written on PC using "Discwelder" from Minetonka and this can be used at higher resolutions ie at asampling rate 96 - 192 more than DVD s normal audio rate. It also gives better(higher bit rate) surround sound quality in 5.1 if you want that as well. The main differerence you should consider is 1)whether you have a DVDA playback unit?.As there is no guarantee that DVDA home recordings will be playable on normal DVD machines...Whereas normal DVD recordings in the in the correct DVD audio folder WILL play on both machines..Albeit at a slightly lower quality on DVD machines than DVDA.(Some playback DVD machines will only play them back at a low quality whatever you record at.)
Both the above should be better than 16 bit 44.1hz CD sound, but not likely to exceed your vinyl... it depends on how good your vinyl/replay system/interconnects/PC soundcard etc are...As most recordings engineers will point out,,,there is also a skill in the recording technique...Dave

IS THAT! Thanks

I know these limitations, and this is just to offfer a biggest pure sound.

I have medium equipaments and a good computer, i think is it suficient to make hi res dvds.

Very special thenks!!!
