deangeli, in his review of the Davis Beethoven says PentaTone uses DCS converters. I don't have this particular PentaTone recording but I do have a LOT of PentaTone recordings and all those I ever bothered to check, say that Meitner ADC units were employed!

I wonder how much difference there is today between the current dcs and current Meitner converters?

Pentatone appears to have used DCS for all of the rqr series up through about 2005, then Meitner after that (and Meitner for all of the new releases that have the information).
