So...I have a crackly old vinyl copy of this, one of my favourite ever records, and was extremely impressed with the surround mix on a DTS 'copy' of the SACD that I'd heard. As soon as I got a SACD/Blu-ray player I knew that this was a recording that I had to have; then I checked out Ebay and realised that obtaining the 5.1 SACD version was going to prove a tad tricky.

So...I get outbid on 3 or 4 copies and finally crack and BIN a copy for a faintness inducing £45 (I now realise that I am going to have to get used to this feeling when buying rock/pop SACDs:-)

So...It arrived yesterday and it's a brand-new, sealed copy, complete with a "Nektar approved remasters" sticker on the outside.

So...I now find that I can't bring myself to open the blasted thing! Some long-dormant record collector voice inside my head keeps whispering about not spoiling the integrity of such a fine unused copy.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaggggggghhhhhhh!
