Graceland is a NO brainer but no matter how much we want OUR specific choices to be released the ultimate decision is ALWAYS up to AP and MoFi (at least in the states) who seem to have their own mind of what constitutes a high rez SACD~worthy release....and some of MoFi's choices are rather bizarre...and they won't budge on multichannel (my recent reference to releasing Santana's Caravanserai in stereo (again)...when a 4.0 QUAD tape exists along with other early Santana 4.0 remasters which are languishing in the vaults).

And except for a few clunkers, I am SO, SO glad I stocked up on almost ALL of the DVD~A 5.1 releases because on my recently repaired Meridian 800 they have taken on a new life. Even some of the much~maligned Silverline DVD~As sound absolutely superb (Richard Thompson's Dualdisc 96/24 5.1 transfer of the Old Kit Bag comes to mind....absolutely phenomenal!)

Pink Floyd - Ummagumma
Pink Floyd - The Wall (obviously)
+ Atom Heart Mother + Meddle etc etc
Van der Graaf Generator - Pawn Hearts
Hawkwind - In Search of Space
Hendrix - Electric Ladyland (would be amazing if they did it without destroying the stereo effects).
10CC - Original Soundtrack
10CC - How Dare You
Police - Synchronicity (has that been done already?).

Wow, now those are some titles off the beaten track! I just had to play my LP copy of It's a Beautiful Day when I read this.

Paul Simon - Graceland. Imagine those polyrhythms and myriad of sounds remixed in 5.1 under the auspices of P.S. himself.
