I have to agree with you on Folk Singer as well as the potential for an SACD of Alone and Acoustic. While I have many fine sounding SACD's, the best sounding disc I have, imho & on my system, is the redbook Alone & Acoustic. So raw and in your face. Where Folk Singer is warm & enveloping, Alone and Acoustic is front row bite and energy.

Correction. Not sure why, but I confused Alone & Acoustic with a different cd. I was actually referencing the "Last Time Around - Live at Legends cd.

Live at Legends is pretty good too!

2002 original vs. analogue sacd - anyone able to make direct comparison? also, with the mo-fi?

The AP SACD has a more natural sound, because the Universal SACD tries to compensate the rolled-off upper treble of the vintage recording by boosting those frequencies.

Nice to know. Well, I've been staring at this one long enough, so just pulled the trigger. Thanks!
