yet again with Praga, who seem to provide no info to any site, vendor or otherwise about recording type and who fail to respond to email enquiries, I need to ask if anyone knows if this is a DSD recording of PCM, m/ch or stereo. Thanks.

I don't "know" of course but usually Praga digitals turn out to be DSD

Previously, yes, but Praga are now re-releasing stereo PCM recordings as well as new DSD's, and fail to discriminate between them in advertising or other release documentation. And after the awful shrill Stereo pcm sound of the recent Borodin SQ2 disc, I'm not willing to take the risk. They also seem to be recording some new releases in PCM. At any rate, they dont reply to emails (in my experience) so this site is the only chance to "test the waters" before buying.

I wonder if Zeus has a better line of communication with them and can shed some light.

I guess if Praga are re-releasing back catalogue, then PCM sourced material is a distinct possibility but they should say so.

If this recording was part of the back catalogue, a CD version would have existed before, but there doesn't seem to be one.

Borodin's Chamber Music Vol. 2 is PCM stereo despite the DSD/multi-ch designation on the back cover.
