As hooperthom mentions, "Snowflakes are Dancing" has been re-titled as "Clair de Lune" on SACD. It's a remake of the original - expanded slightly - and played a bit differently from the original, but still very nice in my opinion. Added to that, it's in multi-channel audio which suits perfectly Tomita's music.

Was just listening to it.......highly recommended. Very enveloping soundfield!

Great news. Thanks for the heads up. Just yesterday I was wondering what his next sacd release would be. My best guess would have been Firebird. Now, this release will give us a lot to listen to.

Welcome.
I only found out about this because I am a cdJapan customer
and was sent an email about it.
The fact that at least a track from the Firebird disc is included on the SACD
may bode well for a full release of that in the near future.

AFAIK the last two tracks from the upcoming sacd were both on the Firebird LP:
1) Prelude...
2) Night on the...

(taking up side 2 of the LP)

Any fans of the Disney animation classic Fantasia?
All the works on stereo CD2 are represented in some form in that film
(some arranged and edited by Stokowski).
