Performance:   Sonics:
So far this is better recorded disc of Chamber Choir of Europe (comparing to their Mozart and Bruckner recordings) and one can actually hear them properly they are excellent. Small group of their best singers is obviously hand picked for this recording. The music is polichoral and polyphonic and every single vocal line is focused and distinguishable. Minor complaint is that some small numbers tend to be focused in the middle of the sound stage, but the large sections are in the vide circle around the listener literally from back left, over central to back right.

The programming of this disc is equally well done variety of composers and pieces makes it exiting listening experience. Also, every piece has a different number of performers, and for once on a budget label the booklet notes are equally informative and useful. Highly recommended, not only to renaissance music lovers.
