Before I start, just a little feedback. I have a funny feeling I am going to get some interesting comments on this one. I realize this is the most trashed Stones album ever. I also realize a lot of people look at the hideous 80s album cover artwork and already formed some what of an opinion here. With that said, I have always loved this album, taken some heat over the years, but now that I have this on this format, this really ROCKS with a bite. The 2009 Universal masters are so horrible it is not funny! I remember when they were released and I told my Universal rep how bad they sounded he could not understand. I said, simply read up on the Loudness Wars and you will get it. So what we have here is the on going fight between Mick and Keith. But that is what makes this bite down hard. One Hit To The Body, Fight, Dirty Work, Had It With You are the Stones simply kicking some ass here! Too Rude and Back To Zero simply soar to new heights on this format. This version simply makes this album sound the way it needed to sound, powerful and in your face! I have now turned a few of my friends on to this version and they all have changed their opinion of this under rated classic by the Stones! I hope I am not the only one here that gets this great Stones album! So no one thinks I am crazy, my favorites are Sticky, Exile and Let It Bleed.
